Screening: Les Oiselles, queer short film from Evreux

Les Oiselles is a documentary drama about the queer struggles of the 70s in Évreux.

Inspired by Monique Wittig who, in Les Guerillères, wrote “But remember, make an effort to remember. Or if not, invent”, Thibaud Renzi speaks about the absence of transmission of our queer struggles over time, from generation to generation.

Synopsis:
Sam creates a documentary portrait of her aunt, Danièle, a legend in the family. Danièle is a lesbian. In the 70s, she was part of a revolutionary gay group. Sam reflects on an action she and her comrades took in the cathedral of Évreux in 1976.

A discussion with Thibaud Renzi, the director, will take place after the screening, with a friendly time and an aperitif.
