Pride March
The march will begin at Verdrel Square at 2 P.M.. Speeches will take place before the departure, and two giant flags (trans and rainbow) will be displayed on the parades.
A Fiertés Colorées truck will drive along the parade, with a DJ and a performer.
A disabled vehicle will be present.
A volunteer team will be present throughout the parade to distribute, as needed: water, sugar, cookies, disinfectant, and to contact the emergency services if necessary.
La Croix Rouge will ensure emergency medical care and will drive at the end of the procession.
Accessibility
FFP2 masks will be available for free all day at the Fiertés Colorées booths. Wearing them is highly, highly encouraged!
The speeches will be fully interpreted in French sign language (LSF) by the Liesse SCOP. The interpreter will be in front of the truck.
As in previous years, the small tourist train in Rouen will be part of the march, to transport people with reduced mobility and allow them to enjoy the pride march.
Please contact us if you plan to bring equipment over 20kg, so we can inform the driver.
A calm procession will be located at the end of the parade, away from the sound systems and the batucada. In case of any issues or if the calm is not respected, you can notify a volunteer so that we can intervene.
This year again, the Red Cross will follow the march with a rescue vehicle to assist anyone who is injured or facing difficulties. They will also be present at the village.
The volunteers from the backpack team can distribute earplugs, water, sugar, and cookies. If you need anything, feel free to ask them.
The pride village remains open during the march: it is therefore not necessary to march to enjoy the day!
