Described by Hannah Einbinder as “a trans and sapphic ode to marginalized communities,” the queer and camp slasher movie Teenage Sex and Death at Camp Miasma is a bloody horror comedy that intertwines queer representations with a love for horror cinema, constantly winking at genre films from the 70s and 80s.

Synopsis:
"After several rushed sequels and despite a declining fanbase, Kris, a queer filmmaker, is hired to direct a new installment of the successful horror film franchise Camp Miasma, with the mission of reviving it."

She is obsessed with the idea of hiring the reclusive actress who played the survivor in the first film. As they begin to work together, the two women plunge into a bloody psychosexual frenzy, blending desire, fear, and hallucinations.
