Trans and Intersex Team
What does the trans and intersex team do?
The trans and intersex team is responsible for all our actions related, directly or indirectly, to trans identities, transitionning, and intersex topics, such as :
- trans, intersex & non-binary support sessions twice a month
- transgender day of remembrance events with the Rouen branch of OST
- private interviews, for anyone who wishes
- a list of transfriendly practitionners in Rouen and around, in collaboration with the Fransgenre association
- training health professionals how to correctly welcome trans and intersex people, and offer proper care for our health & our transitions
- awareness-raising interventions in schools and in professional settings about transgender and intersex topics, and against transphobia, with our education team
- documentation about trans topics, medical and administrative transitions, and intersex topics
- collaborative work with other organizations to improve the access to health in Rouen and around for trans and intersex people (Rouen's Sexual Health Network, Planned Parenthood, Regional coordination for sexual health, Regional Health Agency...)

The support sessions & private discussions
The support sessions are collective support sessions and welcome times to meet, socialize, help each other, find information and support...
They take place twice a month at Diable au Corps, on the 2nd Saturday of the month and the 4th Monday of the month
Learn more about these sessions
Private discussions are offered:
- to trans, intersex, non-binary and/or questionning people
- to loved ones of trans, nonbinary, intersex or questionning people to inform and raise awareness
- or to whoever needs information and/or help regarding these topics
These discussions can take place:
- upon request during our meet ups, in another room on the 2nd floor (no need to notify beforehand)
- at any other time, in any room at the Diable au Corps, upon request through email.
Trans Day of Remembrance (TDoR)
Trans Day of Remembrance takes place on November 20 each year, to commemorate trans people who have died due to transphobia, whether from murder, suicide, or deaths related to financial or health precariousness.
We organize an annual memorial march to honor them and pay tribute to those who have passed away in Rouen and the surrounding area. Since 2025, we have been collaborating with the Rouen branch of the OST for this day.
I need information and/or a health practitionner
Send us an email at trans@fiertescolorees.org, request a private discussion, or come see us during our support sessions!
We have plenty of documentation, and we can discuss it calmly to answer your questions and needs, explain how to access what you want in Rouen, etc.
We'll tell you which health practitionners do we have good feedback about around here to help you.
If you know a health professionnal who's friendly but not doesn't know much about trans & intersex topics, or handles them awkwardly, give them our contact info : maybe they would like to inquire or reach out to us for training (which can be free).
And if you have a doctor who'd like to learn to prescribe HRT, give them Fransgenre's contact info, they teach how to prescribe HRT for free : formation@fransgenre.fr
I have been discriminated
Contact us by email (trans@fiertescolorees.org) or come see us during our meet ups, and we will see what we can do to help you.
Whether it's accompanying you if you wish to file a complaint, offering you support, listening to you, intervening... we will try to meet your expectations to the best of our ability.
